Getting setup with Podcast Conduit.
When we get you setup we will have a questionnaire we will work through with you. We will need to know, average length of your message, what cover art you would like, and the links and contact information back to you that you would like to be made available. We will need 2 sizes of your cover are at a specific pixel resolution. If you don’t have anyone that can create that for you we have graphic artists we can direct you to.
This is a typical week after you’re all set up with our service.
On Sunday – record your message during your regular service time. Once you are finished someone takes that audio file and uploads it to our Podcast Conduit server along with a text file of the sermon title, who spoke, and any other metadata you would like listeners to be able to read.
We then process this file, making any edits that are needed/requested. We add intro and outro music, (if you chose that package level) your church logo or cover art, and embed all of this along with the text you sent into the audio file. We then upload your audio file for you to the hosting service which will automatically feed updates to all the networks you podcast is listed with.
Our priority is to make getting your sermons online and into a global distribution and archive system as turn-key as possible. Our goal would be to have your sermon finished and online within 24 hours of receiving it. As we grow as an organization and more and more churches start using our service this may take more time. We may even set up a priority in processing order organized by what clients signed up with our service first.
Once a month we will send you analytics for your podcast to show how and where you’re being downloaded or streamed.
Our goal with our own network…
The concept behind creating our own network is to have another place where your message can be found. Initially, this will be a smaller network made up of our clients and as listeners come to hear your message they might also want to hear the message someone else is discussing that week and vice versa. The hope is that everyone will grow bigger listening audiences through this kind of cross pollinization.
